Safety Strategy
- Senior Management, i.e. the President, Division Management,
Regional Heads, Country Managers and direct reports to Country
Managers, must be seen to be actively involved in MultiServ's
safety culture
- There must be a discussion and feedback forum for safety
throughout MultiServ
- Our goal is to a have zero injuries, zero accidents, and zero
lost workdays due to injuries at work. To achieve this we must set
challenging, yet realistic, year on year targets
- Every employee in MultiServ, from the President down, must
receive the same safety and safety behaviour training
- To enable safe methods of work requires that operating staff
are capable of carrying out the tasks assigned
- MultiServ must design operating processes and systems and
select operating equipment with safety in mind
- MultiServ must define Best Practice Operating and Engineering
Standards which must be implemented throughout its global
operations
- Regular safety inspections and audits must be carried out at
all MultiServ operating sites
- MultiServ must continuously communicate the priority for safety
in a simple and effective manner
- MultiServ must provide incentive and reward programmes for
safety achievement, recognise personal and group achievements and
encourage healthy competition between countries and operating
sites
- MultiServ must continuously demonstrate it is a caring company
by supporting and maintaining a dialogue with employees and their
families during periods of illness and injury
- MultiServ must comply with and permanently advertise their
adopted safety principles, which all employees are required to
abide by
