MultiServ provides a wide range of handling, processing and management services for ironmakers' requirements. Our services include the maintenance of conveyor belts, and the handling and processing of blast furnace slag.

To provide services in all areas around the blast furnace,
equipment is designed, purchased and operated by MultiServ to
provide operational efficiency and flexibility.
We provide specialised equipment to clean blast furnace runners and
to dig and transport air cooled and granulated blast furnace
slag.
MultiServ has designed fume control systems for liquid iron
ponding. Once solidified the iron can be broken
for internal recycling or external sale.
Specialist equipment and trained personnel clean torpedo ladle lips
or remove torpedo refractories. Controlled
cooling of slag pots reduces the environmental impact of
desulphurisation slag.
MultiServ implements global best practice throughout its
operations to deliver cost savings and improved productivity.
Specially developed systems and methods for conveyor belt
maintenance result in increased belt life and conveyor
availability, and reduced inventory levels.
